Customers have reported receiving an e-mail from a Microsoft address informing them that they or someone has used their online account from different locations. The e-mail contains a link which takes the customer to a fictitious American Savings Bank online banking website. See a sample of the fraudulent email below. American Savings Bank does not ask customers to provide or confirm any personal or account information via email or electronically.

If you have received such an e-mail and responded, please login to online banking immediately and change both your user id and password. If you responded and provided confidential information such as your debit or credit card number, please contact us immediately by visiting one of our branched or by calling our Customer Service Center at 627-6900 or toll-free from the Neighbor Islands at 1-800-272-2566.
