American Savings Bank received reports of a recent scam initiated on both cellular phones and land lines. Customers reported receiving phone calls that appear to be automated messages from the bank. The message informs customers that their credit or debit card has been used by a third party and instructs them to enter their card number and press "1" to be transferred to the security department.
