Voice-Message Scam

There are reports of a new scam initiated through voice-messages left on cellular phones and “land lines”. The caller states that he/she is from American Savings Bank and has called the customer to let him/her know that the customer's bank card has been temporarily suspended. The suspension is a result of a third-party attempting to use the card. The customer is instructed to press ‘1’ so that they can be transferred the Security Department for further action.
