Scholarships

Supporting Hawaii's Students

At American Savings Bank, one of our core values is a deep respect for learning. Since 1978, we have supported education by funding scholarships for Hawaii students. We partner with Times Supermarkets and Kraft Foods Hawaii by providing $25,000 in scholarships every year to the Times Shop N Score program. For more information on this scholarship, visit www.hawaiicommunityfoundation.org. We also fund scholarships through the University of Hawaii System including a Business Night scholarship and various scholarships to support neighbor island students through an endowment at the University of Hawaii Foundation.

Scholarship awardees Janice Nguyen, Melissa Ruan, Misty Nakayama, and Janelle Fukumoto tour American Savings Bank Tower's 30th Floor board room. Scholarship awardees Jacob Kahiapo, Dove Atherall, and Alyssa Torres meet American Savings Bank Chairman & CEO Connie Lau.
