Hogan/American Savings Bank Non-profit Business Plan Competition

Encouraging Innovation in the Non-Profit Sector

American Savings Bank provided support as the title sponsor of the 2007 Hogan/American Savings Bank Non-Profit Business Plan Competition organized by Chaminade University. Started in 2005, the competition provides $30,000 in cash prizes to non-profits with new and innovative social enterprise projects. The 2007 winners include Re-Use Hawaii, Papakolea Community Development Corporation, Hina Mauka, and Hope, Help & Healing Kaua'i.

Representatives from Re-Use Hawaii; Papakolea Community Development Corporation; Hina Mauka; and Hope, Help & Healing Kaua’i were awarded at Chaminade’s Mystical Rose Oratory.
