• When you make a merchant purchase with your Visa Gold Check Card, the amount is automatically deducted from your checking account. There's no check to write or check approval to wait for.
• Your Visa Gold Check Card is a debit card, not a credit card, so you never receive a bill. And unlike a credit card, there are no interest charges (unless you have overdraft protection from a line of credit3).

Money Management Made Easy

• Whether you access your funds through an ATM or make purchases, all of your Visa Gold Check Card transactions are recorded and provided on your monthly checking statement.
• You get a complete record of the amount, date, and even the place where your transaction or purchase was made.

More Secure than Cash

• If your card is lost or stolen, you can get it replaced.

Private Information Stays Private

• Whether you use your Personal Identification Number (PIN) or sign a receipt, the only information provided to the merchant when you make a purchase with your Visa Gold Check Card is an approval of the transaction amount.
• Your address, telephone number or Social Security Number is not revealed.
