Michael Kennedy has a unique mix of expertise leading multiple fintech companies combined with over a decade of experience in various executive leadership positions and consultant roles for large financial institutions.

Michael founded and led Zelle Payments Network, formerly known as clearXchange. Shortly afterward, he became CEO of Interstellar and revolutionized international payments using blockchain technology. Michael was also an EVP at Wells Fargo and Company, where he led payments strategy, innovation and wealth management strategy and implementation. Earlier in his career, he advised executives on strategy and operations as a consultant with McKinsey and Company.

Michael holds bachelor's and master's degrees in industrial engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
