He has served in multiple executive leadership positions, including interim CEO at Dine Brands Global, Inc. overseeing Applebee's and IHOP restaurants, president and COO at Dole Food Company, president and COO at Bank of Hawaii and more.

Richard holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Idaho.
