  1. We reserve the right to close an account that has a zero balance for 30 or more consecutive calendar days.
  2. Deposit balances include checking, savings, money market, CD and IRA balances.
  3. Loan balances include HELOCs and other consumer loans and lines of credit, except residential mortgage and credit card balances.
  4. Direct deposit means electronic government or payroll deposits made to the account during the statement period.
  5. If you use an ATM within the U.S. that is not owned or operated by ASB, we will refund ATM withdrawal fees charged by either ASB or the other bank or ATM operator.
  6. The loans and lines are subject to credit approval. If the loan/line has a variable rate, your discounted rate will not be lower than the minimum rate established for that product. The preferred rates will only apply to accounts that are made after the Kalo Plus or Kalo Deluxe Checking account is opened and cannot be added on to any promotional rate. Contact a branch for details.
  7. For Savings Overdraft Transfer, a Statement Savings or ASB Tiered SavingsSM account is required to participate in this service. There is no annual fee.
  8. Subject to application and credit approval.

*Offer valid from March 29, 2025 to April 30, 2025, when 1) a joint Kalo EssentialSM, Kalo PlusSM or Kalo DeluxeSM checking account is opened with a minor from 13 to 18 years old and a parent or guardian and 2) minor makes 5 in-store point-of-sale or online purchases with their ASB Visa® Debit Card to get $20 (gift). Transactions must post and settle to your checking account by May 31, 2025 (less returns, chargebacks, reversals and so on). For online purchases, the posting date may be different from the transaction date; money transfers, ATM withdrawals, peer-to-peer transfers, micro-deposits, and check payments do not qualify as purchases. Only one gift per account. The gift will be credited to your account by June 13, 2025. This may be considered income and reported to the IRS.
